Burns Beach, WA - Round and about

Burns Beach, WA - Round and about

Day 1 - Just looked around Burns Beach which was basically a new coastal suburb. New homes were being built, many with excellent Ocean views.

Day 3 - Intended to see Perth Zoo - Forgot it was school holidays so no parking! Our second choice
was Perth Botanical Gardens in Kings Park. I think I was told at the infomration centre that Kings Park is 2000 acres - It is certainly huge.

Day 4 - We decided to stay fairly local as we were under threat from heavy rain and strong winds. Based on that information we drove to Joonalup and spend a little of new clothing and lunch out. On arriving back to the caravan it started to rain and the wind arrived, however we survived! Given the lack of attractions (unless the 'Lakeside' shopping centre is considered an attraction) - we didn't take any photographs.

Day 5 - We clean up the caravan and prepare to meet Tracy for the weekend. Dining in and dining out are both on the agenda.

Day 6,7 & 8 - Spent the time with Tracy and Kristen. Dined in on Friday night, Dined out on Saturday night and dined out for breakfast on Sunday morning. Stayed another night as a result of the job list Tracy had created for me!

Day 9 - Returned to the caravan whilst high winds and heavy rain poured down. We had already lowered the TV Arial in order to protect it from the winds. The caravan is getting a fair buffeting, but (fingers crossed) winning the battle. Just tomorrow to go at Burns Beach, then on Wednesday, we hit the road again on our way to Ennabba, North of here and better weather is expected.
