Streaky Bay, SA - Round and about
We did a 18 kilometre detour to visit Venus Bay on the way to Streaky Bay (simply because of the name!).
Venus Bay appears to be a small commercial fishing area. A few shops and a few houses. Looks like people visit Venus Bay for fishing.
Streaky Bay is somewhat more 'up market' with major retail outlets.

Venus Bay foreshore jetty
Streaky Bay is bigger than Elliston and more compact. It has a 'new look' about it and is well laid out. Again, fishing seems to be the main past-time.
