Port Augusta, SA - The journey
It was a quick 2 hour drive to get from Peterborough to Port Augusta along a mix of straight roads and mountain curves. The landscape changes from brush to more trees with a back drop of mountains. Although it started off cold, sunny skies soon arrived and the temperature rose (a little!). Roads were good to drive on, all tarmac with just a little more traffic encountered.
