It was my desire to test my resolve by towing a caravan from the east coast to West coast of Australia and back again, along with my lady companion (who did a fantastic job as 'on-road' photographer & Head cook) and 'Buddy' my border collie, we travelled approximately 11,000 kilometres and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. If you are thinking of doing a similar journey, just do it.

Dubbo - The caravan park
Dubbo - The caravan park
The Westview caravan Park is situated on 10 acres of land and just 5 kilometres from the Dubbo Zoo and very close to the town. Very good facilities with electricity, water and dump points for caravanners in transit like us. There's a swimming pool and children's play park. Dogs are allowed. The staff are more business like than friendly however they are helpful. We would recommend the park for other caravanners. $25 per night for 2 people. We were lucky to get a 'drive-through' lot which meant we did not have to do any fancy reversing.
