Margaret River, WA - The journey
We were suppose to have a couple of nights at Walpole, but on seeing the place (eight shops on the side of the highway) and not one caravan in the park I selected, we decided to drive on to Margaret River. We arrived at 5:30pm and it was fairly dark. Got a guy in the adjacent caravan to reverse mine in after several really poor attempts on my part.
Saw our first live Kangaroo at the side of the road. Just a little fellow, but a roo none the less.
We interrupted our drive between Denmark and Margaret River to call into the 'Giant tree0top walk' just outside Walpole. The walk was amazing as was the scenary.
We will be here for three days and extend our stay in Mandura to get back on schedule for our arrival at Burns Beach.
