Filled the petrol tanks in Rooty Hill which took $100 to top up the two long range petrol tanks. Arrived in Dubbo having emptied the first tank (about 80 litres). Will top up the tanks before we leave for Cobar in the morning.
Site fee for two people (Buddy stays free!) for two nights - $50

A Paster arrived just after us and we spent quite bit of time listening to his tales of caravanning across most parts of Australia – really nice guy and wife.

Didn’t have the correct water connection so borrowed one from a total stranger! Will get down to the local hardware shop in the morning and get an extra one so we can help someone else out.

We are looking through the local ‘what to see’ for our time out tomorrow.

Filled the petrol tank before heading out to Cobar at $1.29 per litre - total $123.39 which was comparable to Sydney prices.

All up we found Dubbo a value for money location
